We performed an audit to review rates of HIV testing in Homerton University Hospital's acute care unit (ACU), following its participation as one of the HINTS1 study sites and its subsequent introduction of an opt-out HIV testing policy. Local diagnosed HIV prevalence is 8.25/1000.
