If MacDonald, Humphreys and Jaffe (2008, STI, 84) are correct in their contention that circumcising men who have sex with men will result in a reduction in HIV incidence among this population, then we would expect circumcised MSM in the UK have a lower incidence of HIV than un-circumcised MSM.
