Martinique Island is one of the French regions with the highest incidence of HIV infection. Between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2020, 122 people attended our clinic for their first pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) visit. Two had an HIV diagnosis, 5 decided not to take PrEP and 115 started PrEP.
